Julien Wagner is a Master of Public Policy student at the Hertie School with a major in Governance and Leadership. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Hagen, where he specialized in strategic management, international trade, and financial intermediation.
Julien has accumulated diverse professional experiences, including his current role as a Student Assistant for the State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Previously, he contributed to impactful research and data analysis projects at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). His international perspective was further enriched during his work and holiday period in Australia, where he supervised teams and engaged in multidisciplinary roles.
Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Julien is volunteering as a mathematics tutor for refugees to help them prepare for higher education. In his free time, he enjoys practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, traveling, and exploring new perspectives through reading and debate.
