Maeve is a passionate advocate for social justice and policy reform, currently residing in Berlin with two beloved cats. With a diverse background that spans tenancy rights advocacy, competition law, and humanitarian work, Maeve is committed to creating meaningful change and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at the Hertie School in Berlin to achieve that goal.

While earning a BA in Law, Spanish, and Creative Writing, along with an LLB in Law from the University of Galway, Maeve started her journey into social advocacy with her involvement in a student refugee society at university. After graduation, she worked with a Tenancy Rights NGO in the West of Ireland advocating for the rights of vulnerable tenants. More recently, Maeve honed her analytical skills while working as a merger's analyst and cartel investigator at the Irish Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.

Fluent in German, English, and Spanish, Maeve embraces travel and cultural exchange, always eager to meet new people and learn from diverse perspectives. She is excited to be a part of the European Public Policy Conference’s Marketing Team and is looking forward to engaging conversations with policy makers and shapers in Brussels, 2025!
