Sam is a French and Dutch national, pursuing the Masters of International Affairs at the Hertie School, focusing on European Governance. He graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a degree in Politics, Psychology, Law, and Economics, specialising in political science.

He also has some experience in the Brussels Bubble, working at an EU Public Affairs Consultancy, where he deepened his interest in European politics, especially on foreign policy and trade issues, as well as Single Market and industrial policy. This year, he is collaborating with Franka to lead the Content Team for the Conference.

Besides his studies and extra curriculars, you can find Sam enjoying some classical music and befriending cats.
